The Weather Dilemma

February 27th was the last time I have had good enough sky conditions to get any work done. I have had to cancel/postpone 3 different projects so far this year because of this. I guess you could say the last 3 years I had been spoiled by being able to at least get one image done per month, but now I sit here unable to do anything.

Ironically while I have gotten very good clear nights during these 3 months, they’ve all been during the time the moon is out shinning bright, but while the moon is not out during the night is when I get clouds, rain or windy conditions.

I wanted to make this short post in order to explain that I am still very much in the business of doing astrophotography, and when I have a new image completed you will know about it.

For future reference, in order to keep up with what I have in the works, be sure to keep tabs on my “Schedule” page so you can see what current statuses are with planned images.

In the meantime, here is 3hrs of work that I did manage to do in February.
